Seven strains ofAmanita spp. were grown on potato-dextrose-agar added with one of the following
fungitoxic compounds: benomyl 10 ug/ml; cicloheximide 2 ug/ml; Rose Bengal 10 ug/ml; malachite green 2 ug/ml; and
sodium chloride 10 mg/ml. Each fungitoxic compound was tested with six replicates. After five weeks, colonial growths
were measured, compared without fungitoxic, and classified as tolerant when the growth was higher than 50%, semitolerant
with a growth between 20 and 50%, and sensitive with a growth lesser than 20%. All tested strains were tolerant to
semitolerant to NaCl; two strains of A. muscaria were semitolerant to benomyl, but the other strains were tolerant; three
strains of A. muscaria and Amonita aff. rubescens were sensitive, while the other strains were tolerant a malachite green; the
growth of the strains in the media with Rose Bengal were variable; three strains of A. muscaria and Amanita sp. were
sensitive with cycloheximide, while the other strains were semitolerant.
