The clavarioid fungi are characterized by the basidiome morphology that emulates coral reef, ranging from to the simplest form until
the profusely branched. For Tabasco State eight species are known, therefore this study is performed in order to describe the diversity
of macro fungi with clavarioid morphology. Twenty visits were done to The Agua Blanca State Park from July 2011 to January 2012.
From the analysis of sixty-two specimens, twenty-four morpho species taxa were recognized, corresponding to 7 families, 11 genera
and only 11 determined species. The best represented families were Clavariaceae (four genera, nine species), Pterulaceae (two genera,
five species), Lentariaceae (one genus, four species) and Gomphaceae (one genus, three species) that represent 88% of all specimens
analyzed. The determined taxa are new records for the state of Tabasco, with the exception of Clavulinopsis corniculata previously
recorded and 19 taxa are new records for the area.
