Abstract

The species of Cantharellus are of great economical and ecological importance.
However, inter and intraspecific morphological variation exists. Therefore, there are taxonomic
problems in some species including the type specie. A preliminary molecular taxonomic study
was performed to solve this problem. The species used in this study were C. cibarius, C. minor, C.
cinnabarinus and Cantharellus sp. Partial nucleotides sequences of the large subunit of the
nuclear ribosomal DNA are analysed for these species.
