The entomopathogenic fungí ¡solated from bodies of dead females of A. mexicana are reponed and described in this
paper. Ants were collected ¡n the State of Morelos, México, after their nuptial fíight, whiie they were trying to bury for
nesting. Three funga] species were found: Aspergillus parasiticus, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae var.
anisopliae. "f his is the first record of entomopathogenic ftingi on Afta mexicana.
