Cultivation of the edible mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus on fermented maguey tequilero bagasse and mixed with wheat straw

Growth and production of a strain of Pleurotus ostreatus on maguey
tequilero bagasse (Agave tequilana) fermented and mixed with wheat straw
(Triticum aestivum) were studied. The results showed a high biological efficiency
of 96.4 %.
