Abstract

Enzymatic activities were determined in five strains of
distoplasma capsulatum yeasts {EH46, EH50, EH51, EH52, EH53)
by APIZYM microassay. From nineteen tested enzymes, alkaline
phosphatase, esterase lipase c8 , acid phosphatase and
phosphoamidase were found in all strains studied , while lipaseC14
and leucine arylamidase were present in only 4 strainl;.
The last enzymes were absent in a high virulent strain of
distoplasma {EH53) .
