Tropical saprophytic Hyphomycetes. new record of Dematiaceous species for Mexico

Ten species of dematiaceous hyphomycetes are recorded for the first time for
Mexico. The material studied was obtained from tropical plant debris collected in several localities
surrounding the "Centro de Investigaciones Costeras La Mancha" (CICOLMA) in the central coast of the State
of Veracruz. Data about their distribution, substrates and taxonomic characteristics are given.
