Abstract

Fourty- four samples of imported grain sorghum supposedly
contaminated vii th zearalenone were analyzed in order to know the
contaminating mold profiles. The predominating mold was Alternaria
a/lema/a , with 1575 isolates, A~pergillus and Fusarium species were also
abundant. other mold genera with species capable of producing
mycotoxins, as well as 635 bacteria colonies, were also isolated .
