New data on the edible mushroom Cantharellus odoratus in Mexico

Cantharellus odoratus (Schw.) Fr. is descfibed from 10 new localities of Veracruz and
Puebla. This species known in México since the last century as Craterellus confluens B. &
R. from Orizaba, Veracruz is edible and very popular in the market of Huatusco, State
of Veracruz. According to the bibliography, it has a large world distribution and is
known from Canadá, U.S.A., Guatemala, China, Himalaya, Malasia and Australia.
