Contribution to the knowledge of the fungi from the State of Hidalgo (Mexico)

A discussiou on thc' fungí deposited in ENCB Herbarium and growing in the State
of Hidalgo (México) is presented. More than 2000 specimens were revised from 65
loi alitics and they belong to 422 species, of which the Basidiomycetes are the most
abundant, with 378 species; of these, the Agaricales with 226 are the most common.
There are boreal species as Amonita muscaria and Gomphus floccosus, and tropical
speries as Polyporus sanguineus and Lenzites stríata, as well as some xerophitic
speries as Battarrea stevenii, Disciseda bovista and Tulostoma spp.
