Effect of the moisture and fungi on the storage of sunflower seed (Helianthus annus)

Abstract

SunClower seed (Hclianthus annus L.) o( the varieties Lyng l\Janchurian, Pcredovik and Vniimk were treated with fungicides and stored at different moisture contents from 9.9 to 12.9% and temperature of 20 to 25o C. In all the storage tests of treated and non treated seeds with fungicides, germination decreased as the moisture content and time of storage increased.
