Abstract

Mycelial growth, productivity and carpophorcs characteristics of live wi ld suains of Pleurotus spp. from Soconusco
region in the state of Cltiapas, Mexico were evaluated. They presented yield and production rate values on the
ranges of 4.72-10.3%, and 1.18-2.21 respectively. Because of its texture and biological efficiency, the most
promising strain was Pleurotusflabel/atus ECS-105. which results were comparable to the control P. o.•treatus IE-
8.
