Results of culti vation of three species of the genus Pleurotus on sugar cane leaves arc presented. Primordia
formation ocurred. depending on the strain. between 15 to 45 days aner inoculation. T"o to four hal\·csts were
obtained and biological efficiency ranged from 40.9to 89.4 %.
