Abstract

Three species of the genus Rickia (Laboulbeniomycetes, Laboulbeniaceae) are
described from Mexico for the firs t time: ~· apiculifera Thaxter, ~ · bifida Thaxter,
and ~· passalina Thaxter. All of them were found as parasites of beetles of
the family Passalidae , in tropical and sub tropical regions. A relation of all the
Laboulbeniales recorded from Mexico since 1893 is presented, which add 73 species
