Two new species of Macowanites from Mexico

The genus Macowanites (Gasteromycetes, Hymenop,astrales) is reported from
the Mexican mycoflora through the description of two new species , M. mexicanus Guz
man (from the States of Mexico and VeracrJz) and ~· durangensis Guzman (from the -
State of Durango) , both associated with coniferous forests.
