Abstract

Eight species of Ascomycetes of the Discomycetes from different regions
of México are described. 4 species belong to the Order Helotiales and 4
to the Pezizales. These species are: Aurophora dochmia (B. et C. apaud B.)
Rifai, Cheilymenia coprinaria (Cke.) Boud., Dasyscyphus orinocensis (Pat.
et Gaill.) Dennis, Geopyxis vulcanalis (Peck) Sacc., Kotlabaea aff. deformis
(Karst.) Svrcéck, Leotia atrovirens Pers., Stictis stellata Wallroth. and Trichobelonium
sp. All the species, except A. dochmia, are recorded for first
time from México. Description and üustrations of each species are given.
