Abstract

The results from an ethnomicological study in Parres, D.F. and El Capulín, state of
México, are given. The main purpose was to know the popular knowlegde of fungí.
There were considered the concept of fungí, their biology, ecology and system of classification
and a comparation was made between Parres and El Capulín. Twenty four
species of edible fungí are reported with their popular ñames.
