Studies of fungi, lichens and Myxomycetes from Cofre de Perote, Veracruz, I: Introduction to the mycoflora of the region

A revisión of the mushrooms, lichens and Myxomycetes from the Cofre de Perote
región, State of Veracruz is presented. One hundred and fifty one species are reported,
of which 123 are mushrooms, 13 lichens and 15 Myxomycetes. The importanceof the
edible mushrooms in addition to its commercial valué in the market is discussed.
