El género Spathularia en México

Spathularía flavida var. brevispora Mains and S. flavida var. longispora Matas
(Ascomycetes, Geoglossaceae) are first described from México, from Pseudotsuga
macrolepis Flous (= P. memiesü var. glauca (Mayr) Franco) forests in the States
of Coahuila and Nuevo León (var. longispora) and the State of Tlaxcala (var. brevispora).
These fungí probably are ectomycorrhizae with that tree. Interesting is
to observe that the Abies religiosa (H.B.K.) Cham. & Schl forests without Pseudotsuga
have not Spathularia.
