Abstract

71 cases of animal d erma tomicosis are reported in anima I pro Tetlings to
some state of .\ol exiro. A new med ium elabor<'ltcd in our laborawry for fast
growing of dennatophites was used (Sahderm media). Some species of the
genera Micro.\pUrl/111 ancl TrirlwjJhyton wc:re isoktecl. in 'iOme rases it was
fount\ association with other ethiological agents . . -\ ('ases of canine sporotrichosis,
another case o[ cutanen~ bovine prototecosis ancl 'iOIIIC c;1ser, of bovine
and ovine dermatophilosis are reporteu for the first time in México.
