Abstract

Psilorybe burealis Gu1.m<in is described as a new esperie:. ;n!d P. argentina
(Speg.) Sing .. P. merdaria (Fr.) Rieken and P. montana (Bull. ex Fr.) Kumm ..
are reponed for the fir~t time from the \lexican mycollora. Besides. a discm~
ion on !'. ('()prnj11iila (Bull. ex Fr.) Kumm. pre1·iously known [rom Mexico
i~ included. All these fungi are the non hallucinogenic: known species of :VIexico
on the g-enus Psilncy be. The material 'tudied was collected in the States of
Coahuila. Durango, Hidalgo, .Jalisro. Mexico. i\'uevo Leon, Oaxaca, Pnebla,
Veracruz, Zacatecas and Distrito Federal.
