Abstract

In the markets, fruits and vegetables are the principal organic substrates, which
allow the development and grow of environmental fungus. The samples were obtained on
winter (june- august) from the environment (plate exposure method) and cavity nasal. The
fungi isolated were eight genera: Penicillium spp. 31.38%, Candida sp. 28.26%,
Cladosporium herbarum 14.80%, Rhodotorula sp. 12.70%, Rhizopus stolonifer 10.79%,
Aspergillus niger 0.89%, Botrytis sp. 0.43%, Mucor sp. 0.43% y Mucor piriformis 0.33%.
