Abstract

This paper describes four modified laboratory techniques useful to study the activity
of wood-decaying fungus isolates. One for differehtiation of rot-type, two techniques to
estimate wood decaying capacity into aggressivity grades, and a simple technique to
evalúate fungus tolerance against wood preservatives. Odds and disadvantages of each
are discussed along with results from four isolates.
