Abstract

Schizophyllum commune Fr. a basidiomycete fungus that has been studied
in the relative to genetics of the compatibility íactors, gives new outlooks for
production of antibiotic substances. The record of production o£ these metabolites
is scant. In this work it was tried to know some possibilities of management
of ant strains (antibiotic production genes) in a physiological point of
view (¡nducing changes in secondary metabolism properties by changas in pH,
temperature and culture media composition); to improve antibiotics production.
