Abstract

Eleven cases of abdominal actinomycosis are reported. A brief review of the
disease and etiological agent is made. Data concerning the clinical and mycological
diagnosis are discussed. It is concluded that the etiological diagnosis
only can be made by histopathological examination of the surgical removed
specimen.
